Ever since I first saw the Japanese animated masterpiece Akira for the first time when I was a kid I have always been a sucker for great cinematic universes and aesthetics. And To me Ghost in the Shell the animated movie is no exception. When I first heard about them doing an american Liveaction movie based on the Animated one I was a bit sceptic just like everyone else. In 2017 the movie is released and while it didn't get much praise. I was extremely impressed with the art, aesthetics and cinematics in this movie while the story line is a bit lacking. I especially fell in love with the Geisha Cyborgs in the movie and decided that one day I'll learn how to do stuff like that in my own way and art style.
This is the result.
